Please join us for a new weekly Jam Session in San Diego. EVERY Friday night, from 11PM – 2AM. The late night jam session is a jazz tradition that you can find in many cities… including San Diego. It works well because musicians can come by and sit-in once they are done with their gigs. You will see real, live improvisation right before your eyes (no rehearsals here). What a great alternative to the other late-night options available in San Diego!
The session will be hosted by the Ben Wanicur Trio and all sorts of surprise guests will be performing throughout the wee hours of the morning. Although the session will start with a jazz theme (as the songs says) anything goes! The vibe, context, and direction of the music will be determined by the players on the bandstand. All styles welcome! Come by and check it out! Every Friday, 11pm – 2am at 3rdSpace!
